​In 2023 I undertook a 6 month residency with Studio26 (ArtsCoast). I explored a new line of inquiry and research in my practice. Learning Ayeneh-Kari (traditional Iranian Mirror-Cutting craft), Iranian architecture and Mysticism principles, I explored the sacred geometry and hidden visual language of forms in Persian Sufism. Specifically the infinity of forms which begins with Gireh گره - the Sacred Knot. Gireh گره  communicates the links between two planes of reality; the spiritual (or metaphysical) and the physical. These planes are linked to the realm of the Feminine.

This ongoing body of practice-based research will contribute to a my year-long mentorship with Dr. Milad Milani at Sydney University in 2025 and a new body of work to be presented in 2026.
