Landscapes from the Homelands - Iteration 1

An ongoing body of Iranian Kāḡaḏ-e Abrī prints adapted for the silk medium and complex multi-printed; Abrī. Prita explores and translates topographic maps and images of Iran's rich, vast and diverse deserts which have significantly shaped her people, her culture and their traditions for thousands of years - a way for her to understand and return to home from afar, to the soils and sandscapes she is yet to walk on.
